Just had a phone call from my GP and I am now in possession of a Freestyle Libre prescription. Big holiday planned for my fingers
all the Welsh health boards, apart from 1 (North Wales) are going to be precribing it as long as you fall into the criteria. Was told this by the Abbotts rep and by specialist diabetic nurse

Unsure if its a definite NO. Just what the Abbots rep told me a week before xmas

For me I have been testing 8 plus times a day, also loosing hypo awareness. Used to have terrible control of my bloods BUT over the last 2 years have been a lot better. BUT on the letter from the DSN to my GP all it had on there was 8+ blood sugar testing and hypo unawareness
