Libre question

I've been lucky enough to have tried a couple of libre devices and am happy to self fund until I meet the Scottish Government criteria to get them on repeat prescription.
Sadly, I'm sure as lots of you know, Abbott are not selling to new customers.
Where is the best place to purchase them from in the meantime?
I've signed up with Abbott so that they'll notify me when they're able to provide to new customers.
I am reluctant to purchase from Amazon for example, in case the device is faulty. Is there any comeback should that happen?
Thanks in advance.

Hi @Millie Brown You can purchase the sensors from Superdrug (they're the cheapest at £40). As long as you can download the reader app on your phone then you can use your phone to get the readings, so either the iphone 7 and up or android with version 5 and higher operating system.

Not advisable to purchase from either ebay or amazon as the sensors may not be compatible with our BG measurements in mmol/l, however even if you did there still shouldn't be an issue with abbot replacing if they were faulty.

I saw someone mention Superdrug but they're not showing on their website. I'll check again!
They won't appear on the website as far as I know, you have to go into a Superdrug.
The same applies to Asda (which is where I get mine from - more expensive at 44 quid each)
