I’m 84. Well past my best before date. I’m a believer in woody Allen’s comment that "You can live to be a hundred if you give up all the things that make you want to live to be a hundred.”. I hate how much I have to cut out of my life to keep my time on target over 70%. What does it matter ? Will I live 2 months longer staring out my window? My dr says my heart complications and hereditary k8dney disease make open heart surgery not possible. Therefore my leaking valve( regurgitation) can’t be corrected. . He gives me 1-2 years at most. If I can stay around 60% is that ok?
