Hi

I've been on the Libre Sensor for about 3 weeks. Been put on as I'm pregnant and type 1. The sensors are supposed to last 14 days but both sensors I've used have given up after about 8 days. When I scan it repeatedly sais "unable to scan please try again in 10 minutes" until eventually it sais sainsor fails and needs replacing.

What am I doing wrong? What could be causing this to happen?

Hi @Flyd ,

Congratulations on your pregnancy.

Are you scanning with the Abbott device? Or using your phone with the Librelink app?

Sounds just like faulty sensors............and hopefully just unlucky you have got two in a row.....

where did you install the sensor...?

The first time I was using both. This time its just my phone.

OK..? Are you still wearing the sensor?

I've had the "try again in ten minute" notification.. & the odd unable to read. But successive tries to date the sensors has lasted the 14 day period..

What device are you using..?
Do you have NFC payment set up on your phne? Can you turn this off? (Not the actual NFC.)
Bluetooth, can this be switched off along with wifi?

I'm thinking some sort of interference or app conflict affecting the sensor..

It certainly worthwhile phoning the Abbott helpline..
