Hey everyone, just a quick question, does anyone that uses the Libre Sensor get pain just after putting a new one on?

I replaced mine a few hours ago now and every time I move my arm or it slightly presses against my bed I get a pain in my arm. It's not the first time I've used one but it is the first time it's hurt like this. It's not a pain that is excruciating, just slightly annoying.
 
Difficult to say if it's the same as my experiences, but I often get a little discomfort that usually settles down in a day or so. I assume it's when you get close to a nerve. I get the same with injections. Usually painless but maybe one on 25 make me jump!

Yes I get it sometimes, its gone after a day or two. As above probably close to a nerve/vessel etc.

I usually head to the gym, do an arm workout and its gone :)
 
Please can someone clarify. This device does not penetrate the skin? Is that correct? I watched a video and it seems that it does not.

I am thinking of getting one.

There is a small 5mm filament type needle which inserts into the skin (similar size to a 5mm BD microfine needle for insulin). It stays there for the two weeks.

Thank you all for your replies! The pain is still there, ever so slightly but not as bad as it was :)
