I just got back from my annual review and everything was fine , librelink estimated Hb1aC of 49 and that is exactly what the blood test was , I told the consultant I thought it was a game changer and he couldn't agree more , we had a little laugh about how it used to be with the wee tests and he the showed me his medal he'd just got for his 50 yrs of diabetes , I've got to wait another year for mine .

Congratulations on such an amazing HbA1c! And although you’d probably rather not have diabetes it’s nothing to be sniffed at having almost reached 50 years. I recently got to my 25 year anniversary, such a shame they don’t do anything for that anymore!
