Heyy all - I’ve been on the Libre 4 weeks now and just put my new sensor in! It’s the first week of having an iPhone 7 and I’ve scanned t to start it however, it won’t let me scan it on my meter now : is there any way to also get the readings on my metre as well as my phone (we did this last time but did the metre before I got my new phone)! But I can’t use my phone in school...? Any recommendations. Thank you!

Hi
It worked last time because you do need to scan your phone in after the reader. After scanning your reader in you have a 60 minute window to scan in your phone. So I just do one after the other.
Hope this helps

Does this mean there’s no way now to go back? Just our schools an academy and will no way allow me to use my phone! x

Hi Kyraa
You will be able to go back/do both when you set up your next sensor. Could you maybe speak to your head and just explain. I work in school and though I know my head wouldn't be overly happy because of comments of 'miss using her phone' when they can't. Just for a few days she would be good with it. I carry my libre sensor in a phone sock around my neck which is very uncool so no one considers it to be a phone maybe you could do something similar.
Good luck

Nope, for this one no way back. What policy is in place in your school for people with extra needs?

Well I mean they don’t let me test between meals. They don’t appreciate me being low and blame it all on me - and I still have to do everything everyone else does- so nothing.

If you are in the UK I would be tempted to ask your dsn to contact your school. We have a little boy in school whose dsn is often in school. And my dsn too has offered to come into school if needed. I understand why maybe you wouldn't want this but it would work in your favour and any other type 1 in school too. Your dsn would talk to staff in a way so that they really understand your condition. It was a trial for me as an adult in school but has become much easier for them to "get it" now we have a child in school with type 1.
And as has been said school is legally obliged to make sure you can manage your condition effectively.
Good luck with it all
