Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
Asking because I have a new phone (yay!) and a new install of LibreLink.
Target glucose range is 3.9-10.0 mmol/L.
Looking back at my old phone:
Target glucose range 3.9-7.9 mmol/L.

I don't know if I set my range more aggressively (I have had the phone for a very long time) or if the default setting have changed.

Asking other Libre2+ users what their target range is, and if they changed it from defaults.

Default setting is 3.9 or 4.0 to 10, which is the range accepted by HCP's.
Of course it makes a huge difference if you're usually running 8-10 or 4-6, even though it's all 'in range'.

On medication with a hypo risk like gliclazide or insulin, it makes sense to up the lower end a little so you'll get a warning and can act before you actually go low.
Unmedicated it makes sense to lower the low end a bit, there's no need to wake up if you hit a 3.7 if you don't have a history of hypos.

I'm cross posting as an insulin user. I like to get an early warning if I go high, but only because on insulin, I can actually do something about it, so it alarms at 6.8, at which point I stop to think what I expect will happen, and if I need some more insulin or not.
I adjust my range depending on what I'm doing. I go to a festival this weekend, all unknown foods, and I would be stupid to keep the high setting at 6.8. I know my graphs will be more interesting than usual, and that's fine, but no need to have alarms going off all the time, especially with people sleeping in tents around me.

As for the cut off for highs when it comes to time in range, it's all personal preference.
If you usually stay below 8, it may be interesting to see your TIR if you set it a little lower.
If you spend half the day above 12, this would be very depressing, you'll only be in the red.

I like to have mine set so I'm mostly in range, but enough above to see where I can improve if time above range shows patterns.

Why not play with it to see what you like best?
