LibreLink app not available message

I deleted it but was able to reinstall from ‘purchased apps’ in App Store. It’s working but is slightly different as is CGM now. No previous data and signal connection not the best at times but it works!!
 
Mine went down yesterday morning around 8am. Find the whole zero communication around this issue bizarre quite frankly. Rang Abbott yesterday and it took over an hour to get through to someone who knew about as much about what was going on as I did! They are sending me a reader as I use my iPhone but will take atleast 3 working days to receive it.
From what I can gather they basically gave the app an update and it’s gone wrong so they’ve removed it from the App Store until it’s sorted. The guy at Abbott said developers are working hard to get it fixed but had no idea how long it’ll be down for.
Just find it a bit strange how something which people rely heavily on can have a major issue and there be nothing said about what’s going on?…no email, nothing on the Abbott website etc.
Just an explanation for users about the issue and what’s being done to resolve it etc would ease a lot of people’s worries.

You can reinstall from “purchased apps” in App Store. I did it last night.
 
Hi I deleted the App from the home screen so that I could reinstall (same issue, just the white screen since morning). Seems like Libre Link app isn't there in the App store anymore. The libre 2 patch I am currently wearing has few ore days to go! What do I do now? Any suggestions pls? Thanks
 
So did i but managed to get from “purchased apps”. No previous data but is CGM noe and works, albeit with signal dropping at Ines, maybe because I’m driving down south today and signal is often dodgy in some parts.

I use an Iphone and have had same problem. Can't restore from App Store or Purchased Apps.

App updates sometimes go wrong but for such a serious defect one would expect that the common sense thing for Abbott to do would have been to immediately release a further update restoring the previous version of the app to allow users to read their blood glucose levels until they fix the latest defective version of the software!

Thanks to the person on this forum that found the Diabeto Log app. I have downloaded this and am now able to read my glucose levels which is a great solution.
 
If any one is worried you can set a free trial with “Diabeto log” app, this allows you to take readings but not much else, 3 day free trial should get you over the hump

Yes I’ve just got mine back up and running. Delete the libre app from your home screen first. Then go into App Store. Press icon at top right corner (probably your initials). Then press purchased. Scroll down to the yellow libre icon and reinstall it. You just set your account back up again and scan current sensor when asked to and that’s it!

Same thing has just happened to me, app screen has gone blank, so I thought I would delete it and start again. Libre 2 app has disappeared from the App store?? Looks like Abbott have got a problem somewhere.

I had downloaded and installed the upgraded app have my new sensor on and all is working at the moment receiving continuous readings on my phone.
 
Guys I just want to say ty for the advice I have select the download icon in purchases and I am now able to use the App . I havent used the forum much before but will be in the future

Hi,

Your data will be on your Libreview account. (Upto the point your update crashed. As it will continue with the setting up of a reinstalled app.) But unfortunately there’s no facility to get it back on your device.

& welcome to the forum.

same for me, blank screen so deleted and now libre 3 app won't work with libre 2 sensors
what or where is paid apps to get the working libre 2 app please

Go to app store at top of screen will be your name or initials tap on that it will take you to account screen open purchased will show you all the apps you have purchased or downloaded best of luck
