I got an email from Abbott today saying that an app available on play store will turn your Android phone into a Libre reader. This means that you only have to buy a sensor.

The app is there but you need your phone to be compatible. So far I have encountered a pop-up saying that the app is not available in my country (England) and a green coloured notice saying that my phone is incompatible with it when I try to download it. Has anyone in England been successful which would mean I just have to get the right phone.

Obviously I don't want to hear from the whole world telling me how wonderful it is, just England successes.

It is working in the UK and downloadable from the play store. Plenty of people are using it. Ignore the website.

I downloaded it on Sunday. I used the link in my email on my phone to transfer me to the Google Play store.

My phone is an LG G4 if that helps.

That is all useful information, thank you. I would not have liked to buy the phone to find it still didn't work because I lived in the wrong place.
