Lidl Greek Yogurt

I have a pot of Aldi Greek-style 10% yoghurt. They had no authentic Greek yoghurt left. It's quite nice, though, and it has 4.6g of carbs per 100g. I might continue buying it; it's less than half the price of the authentic stuff.
And far fewer food miles!

As a big weekly Lidl shopper can I just point out that virtually all products mention Ireland on their packaging. The yoghurt is actually made in Telford which I believe is in Shropshire.

I've taken pictures but I don't know how to make images small enough for forum. I've just had a (I wouldn't even call it a conversation) with the manager of the store. He came out of the office with an attitude and I said what I came for and he said "is that all you want", you need customer services. Said it was the same stuff, I said it wasn't and showed him the images of the backs and fronts and tried to explain that as a diabetic trying to eat low carb it mattered. I handed him the three remaining pots and said he could have them they were of no use to me. He just walked off and left us there in front of a long queue at another till. Came back and said I suppose you want out. And that was it.

I wasn't nasty with him, but I certainly won't be back to shop there. Need to find a customer service number to ring.

Isn’t the store manager the de facto head of customer service for hiss branch?

You would think so. Believe me it wasn't worth even trying with him. I've been onto customer services via WhatsApp chat and they are looking into the "problem" with the yogurt. They offered me a refund in vouchers but I said there's no point as I've no desire to go back to Lidl to keep checking the stock.

I'm absolutely gutted. I have eaten Lidl's Greek full fat yogurt for years now after recommendations on here. I loved it - until today. I bought my usual 4 tubs - the tubs were a different shape but I didn't think anything of it as it's not unusual for packing to change - then I tried it. It is horrible - tastes like eating a lemon yogurt, really acidic - not the lovely creamy stuff I had become used to. I checked the packaging with a tub of the original yogurt only to find it is Irish - not from GB. It is also double the carbs than the creamier version.

Any ideas of a different yogurt for breakfast? Lidl's were well priced - everything else seems dearer.
I wonder if that was just a bad batch. I've been using it for over a year since Yeo Valley went up to £4. I haven't noticed any difference.
