Morning everyone!

Recently diagnosed with Type 2, taking Metformin 1x500g per day (this is only my first week..). Have been taking lots of information from this site, and was wondering about the life insurance I have. As I type 2 do I have to declare this to my life insurance provider?

Hi

Assuming your life policy is in force, you should not, as I understand it, have to tell your provider of subsequent health issues. It is usually at the point of application that you have to disclose - or if you are increasing your cover. You can always check your policy or make enquiries of your provider.
