Hi Everyone,
Hope youve had a lovely Christmas!
In Jan I will be doing a 6 week weightloss programme at the gym and will be predominantly lifting weights. Ive never done this before so just wondered if anyone can offer any tips about its effect on diabetes(type 1).

Does it push your sugars up? Do you eat before? Is there a lag on your sugars being affected then a drop?

Any and all advice welcome!
Thanks
Lyndsey

Typically, weights will raise blood sugars at the time but you may see a drop overall.

We are all different so you will need to test to see how it affects you.
Bear in mind the impact could be different at different times of the day and depend what you have done prior and what your starting levels are.
