Hello
This could possibly be a very silly question but I wondered if anyone knew if there was a link between having diabetes and being more prone to acne? I was diagnosed type 1 at the beginning of February and I’ve noticed since being on insulin for a few months that I seem to be getting more spots. While I of course occasionally got acne before my diagnosis, (I’d get a tiny flare up for a few days before it cleared up) but since my diagnosis I seem to continually get acne and not matter what I seem to do they do not want to clear up. My routine hasn’t changed much since my diagnosis so I wondered if perhaps it was something a bit more beyond my control?
Sorry if this is a silly question
Thank you
