So... I have this (where my fat has literally just disappeared overnight) on 2 places on my abdomen, and one on each flank. I haven't injected on my abdomen since August 2015, but one of the areas there has recently and very suddenly got worse - I cannot understand this, since no insulin whatsoever has been injected there for 15 months.
The areas on my flanks are where I normally put my pump cannula (Omnipod), which I have been using since August 2015. I have now slightly moved sites on my flanks, and will be changing from Novorapid to Humalog insulin tonight.

Has this happened to anyone else?
Does anyone have any advice at all?
Has anyone got any advice about changing from Novorapid to Humalog? My DSN says it has the same mode of action, so therefore I shouldn't need to change any of my pump settings, but I'd appreciate anyone else's thoughts on this if possible..?

I'm quite scared that I'm going to run out of places to put my pump soon...

Sure the action of Novorapid and Humalog are pretty much the same.

I've not experienced Lipoatrophy only Lipohypertropthy issues, but I'm also a Omnipod user and you can use your arms, legs and bum as infusion sites should you choose, not used my bum yet and using the legs I didn't get a good absorption rate but you could try them both and see how you get on, the arms are a good place for the Pods but make sure you use the back of the arms.

Thank you! Have started using further round my sides and top of bum; I might try my legs, but can't use them on my arms as I don't want anyone to see them, but thanks for your reply anyway..

I thought Novorapid and Humalog were the same too - but if the last 18h are anything to go by (several hypos), Humalog is much more effective in me....

Thanks again for your reply!
