Hmmmm..... I don't think I can find any of those things here except the consomme and tea/coffee, but great suggestions - thanks! And congrats on the great stats -- AMAZING!!!!My hubby (non diabetic but low carb) had the 10 cal jellies from Hartley- tins of consommé, marmite, oxo, bovril, black tea & coffee, we had a previous couldn't get out of full day out the day he had to do this so the consommé was great in a flask.
@Squire Fulwood - ah, I don't think we have that product here in the US. But I'm sure we have something similar.
I was told only to have black tea or water or clear soup ...all dayAnyone here have any suggestions on how to get through the full day of liquid diet on the day before a colonoscopy? The standard instructions from the gastro doc is jello, Italian ice, popsicles, apple juice, etc. I'm afraid if I follow these instructions, I'll spike and crash my glucose. I read somewhere about a product called Isopure, apparently a high protein no carb drink. Has anyone tried this? Any suggestions are very welcome. Procedure isn't until May, so I've got some time to experiment beforehand.
I would personally opt for a virtual colonogrophy. This is less evasive. I have had both procedures and was left a little traumatised by the colonoscopy.Anyone here have any suggestions on how to get through the full day of liquid diet on the day before a colonoscopy?
