How do I start this???

Ditch the pills!!! Ditch them now!!!
In December, I had an appointment with my consultant and he asked me to consider adding metformin back into my regime due to various health reasons that it could help with.

I was adamant that it was not going to happen and explained why. He then asked me to consider the liquid version Something that I had tried to get years ago but was told it was only for the very sick.

Anyway, I walked away with a prescription and decided not to waste the NHS money and got the bottle.

OMDs!!!! Those pills that they are giving you guys are the problem!!

So far

Problem bowls x1 day and nothing since then.
•Feeling sick- Nope

•Insulin sensitivity-Better! Dropping units as I’m going.

•Lady issues (PCOS)- Getting better!!

The only issues are

•The taste is not pleasant so drink water after.

•You can feel an intense hunger on some day especially if you take it without food.

•Lastly when your bowels open, the whole house can smell it but I’ve learnt to spray air fresher before and after.
My stools have always been formed but they do have a smell but it could be the metformin or the iron tablets.

I know that metformin gets a lot of bad rep in n this site but if you follow all the trails on it for other conditions, it actually is a wonder drug especially for women with heart issues/PCOS or those trying to conceive.
Especially if you are over 35.

I just wanted to share my experiences.
