" I can't put the pump away and click OK after a while, for risk of interrupting the delivery due to the "press any key to abort delivery" feature."
I love my Vibe pump!
Though it has happened me a couple of times clipping the pump back onto my trousers, or putting it into the spibelt that as I've pushed the pump on/in I've hit that button just next to the tubing. A button that I never have any use for apart from accidently buggering up my blood sugars and confusing the hell out of myself.
I think it's for delivering insulin without looking at the pump, you press it so many times for the number of units. You have to turn that feature on in order to use it. (Needless to say, I don't have it turned on!) I suppose handy for those with visual impairment. What is that button for?!
It's all about the Accu-chek Aviva Combo pumpsorry peoples!
Bull @NicolaAnne1994 until it pairs with Dex.... AND becomes waterproof i wouldnt even entertain the idea.... the vibe is stil the best out there even without a home button.
It can...according to the dexcom website! And it not being waterproof don't effect me anyway so ner!
Where did you see that? the only pump paired with Dex is the Vibe
Yes but it doesnt use the pump as a receiver - you need another receiver to use Dex with those pumps.
Below is me (a number of months ago) showing my CGM data on my pump with my BG meter for comparison. Vibe is the only one that does this.
The pump only tells you IOB as you are about to bolus ( as far as I can see )
