Little Things……..what has pleased you this week?

They say that little things please little minds…..I am pleased today, to have received my new Libre 2 reader, that Abbott have sent me. They do seem very good at replacing things, and I really didn’t expect them to just send me a new reader when I asked for it.

Secondly, my Son has been working in a temporary Christmas job - his first ever job - and it has been given me real pleasure seeing his excitement at doing little bits of Christmas shopping.

What little things have given you pleasure this week?
 
Finally feeling like cooking and eating anything other than tomato soup during a nasty cold, and having made a big pot of bouef bourguignon for the first time in my life.

And finding a new home for my goat, who is lonely because my other goat suddenly died. I found out it's very hard to rehome a goat, but the day after tomorrow I'll bring him to my cousin, where he'll have 3 goat friends. :)
 
That sounds yummy! I’m glad you’re feeling a bit better.

Such sad news about your goat, but great news that you have found the lonely goat some new friends.
 
I am pleased that I have made it to the end of the year after a malignant colon cancer diagnosis in May 2021.
