Type 2 Liver dump: should it be discouraged or encouraged?

I tend to let my liver decide for itself, but if I give it the right conditions, it won't necessarily need to dump, or at least not so much. Since it's normal behaviour I don't want to force it into something against the grain. But my belief is that if you have got your glucose levels nicely stable, and your body is preferentially burning (stored) fat as your main, stable, continuous fuel source, your liver has much less need top up with a dump. Last March and April when I was wearing Libre sensors for a while, I saw something like this happening when had a period where I was virtually flat lining with no apparent signs of any dumpy spikes at all.
