Been type 2 for a few years now and just wanted to say hello. Loads of other things wrong as well but for the meantime I would just like to say - Glimeperide, why have I felt poo the moment I was put on this stuff? Answers to my doc please as he doesn't have a clue :roll:

Al - welcome to the forum, its difficult when you dont know all that much about diabetes, so its good that you decided to hop on board. Here you can learn about diabetes and how to control it and become a bit more pro active where your health is concerned, this in turn will help you become more confident. Plenty of support in here, come on, pelt those questions at us, there is always someone who comes up with the right answer to help you along.

In the meantime here is a link to get you started, normally our lovely daisy sees to that every newbie is getting this, but she may have had a weekend off.
