It has been at least 15 years...but after 3 years of low carbs and intermittent fasting, long healing ulcers and wounds, on my arms, legs, nails bed etc are finally flattening out...

Here is one long healing ulcer on my left arm...

Good man, persistence paying off!
What caused them in the first place, do you know?

I have no idea...they just started appearing as little bumps that grew into ulcers that never quite heal...no matter what ointment/cream or snake oil is applied...
It would heal a little...then the itch comes and the vicious cycle continues...on the arms, thighs, and face...

This is the last of 2 remaining bumps on my arms...so low carb and IF is pretty good for inflammation control...

What a wonderful result, you must be smiling all day long. Well done that Man!

Welcome relief to you. I suffered for years with cysts in armpits and 'other' places, haven't had one since going low carb. Shouldn't have posted that, I bet I get one now.

My wife just had one surgically removed...it was rather deep. She could barely lift her arms this few days.

In the cholesterol lowering diet I was put on, a long standing cyst on my back grew larger, very itchy, and burst (that was fun).
These days I still find myself surprised at how soft and supple my skin has become again - after two years of low carb.
