Hello, I’m looking for a specialist psychotherapist who treats diverse related depression. Does anyone know of anyone in the London/Croydon area?

That's a very difficult one, and a bit like hairdressers; what suits one person can be totally wrong for another.

On the forum, we would certainly discourage members to name specific health care professionals, as that can become quite heated for the the reason in my opening remark. In the context you request, a name posted on the forum would be removed.

If you put your criteria into the Counselling Directory, you will find there are several around your area. Your Doctor may also be able to refer you to someone, or point you in the right direction.

Counsellors and psychotherapists have different trainings and different regulatory bodies / professional registers etc.
For psychotherapists, have a look at the UKCP site
