Hi, I've been going through a rough patch with my type 1 diabetes and looking for support. Feelings of sadness, cant be bothered, why me are creeping in :( :( I would like to attend a support group for adults newly diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes around Preston/Leyland/Chorley/Blackburn area. I've spoken to my GP for local support groups but no success. I was diagnosed with Type 1 just over a year ago at the age of 30 and have yet to meet another Type 1 in person. I have found this forum invaluable but I feel speaking to others in person would make all the difference. Any information is greatly appreciated.
