Morning everyone, well, my closed looping start date in only two days away!

I’m upgrading from the insight to Ypsomed with CamAPS FX.

Ypsomed wasn’t on the list of upgrades from the hospital but, thankfully my DSN granted my wish got funding. I’ll be the only one in the trust using Ypsomed so far.

I’ve done all the one line training and I’m now excited to start.

I only started using DexcomG6 in November, and found it life changing, closed looping is taking things to the next level and the nearest I’ll have been to a real working pancreas.

I was diagnosed in 1979, the time of glass syringes and the only way to measure glucose was via a using test in a test tube.

Absolutely amazing how things have changed.

Hope it goes well for you. I was diagnosed in the 60's, so also remember glass syringes etc.

I'm sure it will go well and great news, pleased you got the pump you wanted. I'd agree even though I'm on the t:slim the Ypsomed with CamAPS FX does look a more adaptive solution (sadly its only supported on Android devices).

I’m a hardcore IOS user Chas! I bought a compatible Android from Back Market which I’m using exclusively for diabetes. Nothing else.

Here’s hoping one day soon IOS will be supported.

Me too, sadly I think that the design of the sw requires breaking into the phones source code too something IOS security would not allow. But..... Apple are investing (for past 5 yrs+) in non invasive BG monitoring (via watch) so who knows whats round the corner.
