HI. Type 2 diabetes has caused significant weight loss in my legs. It must be due I think to too much sugar in my blood. Will I be able to regain the weight in my legs if I take some kind of action? Anyone had the same problem? Thanks. Rich.

Oooh yes my legs are really slim and belly bigger and it's what dr berg calls an adrenal type . I'm my case I think it been a bit of muscle wasting. I've been inactive due to chronic fatigue syndrome

Since I hit the low carbs I've definitely lost muscle despite 3mile power-walk each day. Advice given was to visit gym and use some weights but I'd need to retire to find the time the NHS think I have to spare. It's not their fault I guess but sometimes they don't seem to think that we lead very busy lives with responsible jobs.
Result here is that I don't necessarily feel healthier and brighter than a 30Kg loss should provide but when I reach my weight targets (BS targets already met but need to hold them) I will try and focus more on muscle tone if I can.

only time can tell some if they ave been in diabetic ketonic acidosis ,( the dangerusly high ketosis poisoning kind ) the body switch to us the bodys muscles for energy.. and then one can loose a significantly big amount of musclemas..

there is one way back to get stregth back in all ones muscles (and hopefuly the heart has not been damaged) by weight lifting and resistance training..
so good idea to go to some form of "body" building or fitness or do it at home...
