if you are a type one on insulin, as i am, i would be rather careful about very low carbs - they are not what i can manage, and not recommended by specialists where i am - i think the situation re Type 2 may suit the low carbs, butI agree with the advice to take great care as a type one. i was not overweight some years ago, but needed to lose less than a stone - i found this easiest by cutting carbs to around 120, any less just did not work re control, or digestion. I slowly lost the required weight, cutting calories as well, i realise everyone is different, but this has been my experience. i know nothing about fat burners, but if they speed up the metabolism, they are not safe for anyone, let alone a type one diabetic - i wonder whether you might damage your heart......not worth it.....
