Type 1.5 Losing weight

Hmmm @Little Bird I was happy when I was diagnosed as a type 1/LADA. I wasn't happy I was type 1, I was happy I was finally diagnosed right! Once I knew I could deal appropriately with it. It explained a lot.
 
@ianslaney 40% of type 1/LADA’s are misdiagnosed as type 2’s at first. At least they are finally paying attention, but it is still happening too often. One of the signs of being type 1 is needing insulin within 3 years of diagnosis.
I think this happened to me. I never knew I would be this. I had no name but was told I am type 1 after tablets failed to work.It was a long winded way of getting stabilised and did some damage along the way as ended up with a lot of complications.But I guess you cant change the past you can only affect and change the future when it is in the present.
