I've just had the most encouraging phonecall from my personal trainer this morning who has finally found my previous stats and was able to make the comparisons with my measurements last week.
Instead of shouting them from the rooftops here they are - a testament to the LCHF lifestyle. I know I get impatient about my slow weight loss, but I have to remind myself that I'm not only addressing my weight and Diabetes, but also another debilitating medical condition which is Rheumatoid Arthritis. My personal trainer, who is also a qualified nutritionist told me this morning how "normal" my feet were now looking with all swelling and joint inflammation gone without surgical intervention and I've taken myself off all nasty drugs for RA.
I've only lost 18lbs in total since starting LCHF in March 2014 but I am totally committed to it - even more so now as these numbers validate LCHF. Just look at what else is going on behind the scenes!
So, here are the centimetres I've lost in just 5 weeks from 13th December 2014 to 17th January 2015 - .a total of 29.8! My PT said she had never in all her life known anyone lose 4" off their waist over Christmas! Here goes.....
Bust - minus - 5.3 cm
Right calf minus - 0.8
Left calf - minus - 1cm
Right thigh minus- .5cm
Left calf minus- 1.5cm
Right arm minus 0.9cm
Left arm minus 1.8cm
Hips minus - 2.5cm
Lower Waist minus - 7.4cm
Waist minus 10.1cm
I can also see from her printout of my stats that my average daily calorie intake in the past 5 weeks was 1505 despite upping my fat intake to 80%
Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me to persevere. I'm with you for the long haul
