Were you T1 or T2?

***! theres a section of this site 4 type 2 ppl who inject,,,,get your facts straight before havin a pop at a new member

no! his hi sugars and t2 diabetes could have been caused by being ill and when he was fixed at hospital his sugars went back 2 normal,,,,whats so strange about that happening?

Gazzy's previous post stated he's had diabetes over 10 years and was treated with insulin and tablets.

If Gazzy's illness has lead to him to lose a large amount of weight, it could lead to him no longer requiring insulin. Plenty of people with type 2 diabetes have been able to come off insulin, either through dedicated lifestyle changes or bariatric surgery.

Type 2 inject since when?
Whilst I don't inject, many others do.

I don't know if you are familiar with the Newcastle Study/Diet, led by Professor Taylor? By utilising a very low energy diet, participants de-fatted their livers and pancreas em, and in many cases this led to cessation of meds, and for some a reversal of their diabetes. For some, including Richard Doughty, the requirement for the very low energy feeding was very short; in his case, something like 10 days, if I recall correctly, so it could be done; albeit with a massive, 12" thick crust pizza sized dollop of good fortune in play.

If you google my foregoing, I'm you might find it interesting.

He was 'knocked out' and, I suppose, nil by mouth and on a drip. I saw a video once with two doctors discussing neuropathy. ONe of them said that a patient had complete return of sensation following a kidney transplant. My theory is that the patient was cured of diabetes by being stuck in a hospital bed for three weeks nil by mouth. I'm thinking of trying that as a therapy.

Ha ha, maybe diabetes is better than "being stuck in a hospital bed for three weeks nil by mouth"!!! Why not try being stuck in the chair at home in front of the telly/computer with "nil by mouth", sounds a lot easier. I seem to recall Richard Doughty "curing" his diabetes in I think it was 11 days And Breathe as I was very interested in it as he is similar to me; thin T2!
