Hi Folks,
weighed myself this week and have broken the 50 pound loss barrier, so have moved from a tight 42 inch waist to a 34!.
Just wanted to share my experiences of how I have bought a new wardrobre for about £130!.
I bought 2 smart jackets from TK Max - both were £30 one reduced from £99 the other was a Ben Sherman reduced from £199 (If you believe the labels!)
The jeans from ASDA for £3 a pair are half decent.
Belts, ties (I am looking for work so need one or two) and smart shirts from Primark £3 and £5
Trousers from Matalans at £7 per pair
Tons of t shirts, polo shirt and fleeces from Sports Direct £2-4 shirts and £5 fleeces.
Shoes were £15 from BHS.
Most were usually from the sale racks
Everything I bought was decent quality and label free (apart from the odd small slazenger/umbro/adidas logo).
Some may turn their noses up at where I shop, but after being called a f** t*** for 20 odd years, people are now saying I look the dog's b******* 8) so you can buy on the cheap and look the biz!!
Even if you have the dough to splash the cash, (I dont!!), then it makes sense to go easy as you dont know if you are going to either relapse or lose even more weight.
Personally I gave away my previous wardrobe (including my beloved Hugo Boss Copy Crombie and suit) cos I am determined there aint no going back!!.
All the best - Steve
