When my blood sugar drops I only enter the bg reading into my pump not the carbs that I am having to bring them back up. Is this right or wrong?

Both actually. I have a different pump to you though. If my levels drop to hypo levels my pump remote doesn't even suggest any insulin if I type in 15carbs .. (Which is what I have).
If I have carbs cos going lower I rarely tell the pump. Why do I need to tell a mechanical bit of equiment that I treated my levels lowering? I don't...I only need it to deliver insulin when needed....
