Can anyone tell me why I have suddenly started having hypos? I've eaten the same thing and not exercised, been diagnosed a month and thought I was getting the hang of it.

Not enough info to give you a decent answer unfortunately. What I will say is diabetes doesn't cause hypo's, in fact, quite the opposite. Hypo's occur generally if you over medicate or too much insulin. Start keeping a BG diary and either post results here or discuss with your DSN or doc.

If you've only been diagnosed a month (and I think this only applies to type one), you'll still be in the honeymoon phase- your body is still producing some insulin (just not enough or not utilising it well enough to control sugars consistently) so unfortunate things can be very up and down for some time. I think it's usually about 12-18 months after diagnosis for things to settle.

Type One Diabetes since 2001, Coeliac Disease since 2003 ish, IBS, and on and off depression and diabulimia.

Current HbA1c 11.7% :(
