I am new to diabetes (diagnosed march 21) and trying to find my feet with carb counting, ratios and all that is inbetween!
quick question: today i had no carbs for breakfast or lunch and therefore no insulin and blood sugar still went down (3.2) any ideas why?
apologies for my ignorance here

Hello @ema_jane81 welcome to the forum :)

Newly diagnosed t1’s find that their insulin doses will change during the first few months, your body is under less stress now with insulin therapy so your pancreas can kick back with some insulin output, it’s called a honeymoon phase so adjustments will be required during this temporary phase - speak to your diabetes team tomorrow as they will want to review it with you.
