Low BS early AM

I am following a low carb/ww diet and am exercising daily by walking and am feeling really well, however some mornings between 02.00 - 05.00 my blood sugar goes down to about 3.5 ( average ). Do I need to cut my long term insulin which I have just before bed or my dinner short term insulin which I vary the amount of depending on home many carbs I eat?

Do you have anything to eat in the evening? I usually have a small bowl of cereal at about 9pm depending on what my BG test was and this tends to see me through the night. You need to lower your long term insulin if it still remains low after eating the night before.
