low c-pep - LADA?

I was diagnosed about 2 years ago with pre-diabetes. Currently my fasting glucose is 5, glucohemoglobine - 5.8
Fasting C-peptide analysis came back as <0.1. Last year it was norm - 3 ng/ml. I'm controlling my blood sugars with liraglutide.
As for other symptoms that should be there with no C-pep don't really feel I have them - I've gained weight in last 6 months, I'm not sure about the thirst part, but it's not excessive, I'm tired but that's the way I usually am being very obese. I don't think I have had any hyperglycemia moments as I would have definitely felt them.
Could it just be lab testing failure?

Not sure why you think you have might have LADA but the c-peptide issue was addressed very well by @catapillar here in the thread you have already started today.

As for unwanted weight gain, weight issues, you might want to consider the low carb program.... plenty of success stories associated with it.

Are you testing your levels? You may well have had hyperglycemia events and not known, unless you tested.
I doubt that it's a failed lab test result. Not impossible, but certainly not probable.

No, I don't think it was adressed well because no insulin an no c-pep while fasting is just not true. My levels were not 0 last year and they are not in other patients, e.g. publication https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s11695-013-0872-8

No, I'm not testing levels. I've had success with keto diet, but then last 6 month have been very stressfull and I've just not been able to follow it very well and gone off road.

This explains the c pep test in some detail. I hope it gives you some answers

I would suspect the C-Peptide test result is wildly wrong. If you are overweight etc then you would expect the C-peptide to be high rather than low. I would not expect LADA?
