It is waaaaay above my head (and performance), but you may find it fascinating.

That was this morning after my coffee with coconut oil, butter and double cream.
I am a runner but taking a few days off at the no end to try and alleviate a case of shin splints/ calf tightness ahead of a new years eve 10k. I also cycle and do other bits and pieces.
Have you tried compression socks? I acquired a calf injury about 6 months ago and started wearing them and no problems since. Swear by them now even on the bikes. Look a bit of a tit in the swimming pool tho! Hehe
