Any recommendations for low-carb bread.
I did a search & found that Warburton's Danish White (low sugar) was quite popular in 2008.
Is this still recommended today?

What I eat.
The loaves are fine but the rolls are really good.
In my opinion that is. Which, in our house, is the only one worth listening to! Except my wife.

Thanks Sammy.
Just had a quick look online & it looks like it's available from all the usual supermarkets.

A word of warning the Brennans bread isn’t any lower carb than any other readily available bread at nearly 17g carb a slice for the wholemeal. It’s fine for those doing lower carb I suppose but it isn’t a true low carb bread.

I get loaves, rolls and pizza bases from The Low Carb Food Company, they are more expensive than normal off the shelf breads but then the ingredients to make it are more expensive. It’s not an everyday product for me but I use it occasionally for a sandwich or toast for dippy eggs etc.

Kingsmill crustless bread is about 7g per slice and readily available, hi-lo bread from Sainsbury’s is smaller and much harder to get and is about 5g a slice from memory.
The seriouslylowcarb stuff is great, but the price is mad, from memory something like £6 for a loaf, £5 for 4 rolls and then £5 postage on top, I guess some must bulk buy and freeze it ?
Thanks Brian.

I get mine from the low carb company. Seeded bread rolls were the best. Sliced bread nice for a sandwich, slightly diferent texture for toasting, for me felt like unsweetened cake! I buy it and freeze and use it from there. Tried their sausage rolls as well, I liked husband hated! Bread is less than 2 carbs a slice, about the same for sausage rolls.they’ve got short eat by dates as they don’t use preservatives.
