Low carb breadcrumb coating

Being not hugely talented in the kitchen :) I was wondering if anyone had a simple recipe to make a low carb breadcrumb coating for chicken/fish etc out of some low carb bread, srsly or similar?
I'm guessing I blitz a slice of bread (fresh or stale??) and use egg to make it stick, but seasoning etc I don't have a clue.

If I could get something that tastes even vaguely like a KFC coating I'd be eternally grateful . . . .

I'm lazy :) I decided the amount of carbs in a tiny wee bit of dressing stuck to a bit of chicken wasn't worth the hassle of finding a LC version. Would be different if it was a whole loaf or something like that.

Some of the "supermarket" coated chicken/fish are remarkably high in carbs!
for instance a birds eye breaded cod fillet is a whopping 21g carbs!

Only buy fresh chicken from the local butcher - then you know what you're getting :)

Like @Antje77 says pork scratchings are a good one but can be a bit strong in flavour for things like fish, I just use dipped in egg then almond flour, Parmesan is a good one for chicken, or a mix of both - good for “courgette or halloumi fries. Season the “flour” before using as a coating with salt & pepper or any dried herbs you like

Noticed it was a KFC you were fancying found this keto recipe on line

You can usually find any low low carb dupe for anything online - just put the word keto or low carb in front of what you want to make

Edited to add it’s a USA website so the carbs are 5g but the 3g fibre isn’t deducted so the net carbs for the recipe would be 2g

This with whatever seasonings you wish to add.
I vary seasonings
Garlic salt, pepper, chilli flakes, ground ginger, paprika, for example.

Edit to add: brush chicken with beaten egg to coat, then cover with the seasoned seed mix.
