Hi there - I signed up for this programme a few days ago - I’ve been pre-diabetic off and on since 2017. I’m pleased to say - on the one hand - that I’ve managed through diet and exercise levels to reduce out of prediabetes a couple of times but on the other hand - when I take my eye off the ball I go straight back into pre-diabetic range. This time I really am going to give it a good go with low carb. But I’ve just discovered I’m also hypertensive and I’m now worrying about what impact the fat and protein quantities in this way of eating will have on that? I’d like to make improvements to that too if possible. Will the amount of fat and protein be detrimental to my BP? Thanks

My hypertension disappeared with my ultra low carb diet along with a multitude of other health problems.

It's not been a problem for me. BPs were normal pre-keto and are normal after 3+ keto years.
