I signed up for a research study into fatty liver disease, as I had been told I had a fatty liver a few years ago, also my blood tests when diagnosed with T2 last year showed a slight issue with my liver.
Results from the initial fibroscan yesterday - my liver isn't perfect but I no longer have fatty liver disease (so don't qualify for the study).
Yet more evidence that the GP I saw this year who wants to blame everything on my 'high fat' diet is wrong - low carb plus some extra fat in my diet has improved my liver!

What a boon! Well done for failing to qualify!

Gp sent me for ultrasound in April this year, discovered I too have an enlarged, fatty liver, I don't drink alcohol that much, so was surprised, I have been eating LCHF for over two years now and HBA1C has come down from 66 to latest 47 I eat betweeen 20 to -50 grms Carbs/day so your info' is really encouraging, hopefully I will improve my condition too.
