Chocolate isn't my thing, but I recall last year a number of forumites waxing lyrical about their scrumptious chocolate egginess.

As I recall, @Avocado Sevenfold and @Brunneria were amongst the ringleaders.

Buy an Easter chicken??? ;)

Seriously, yes, a dark chocolate, high cocoa Easter egg would be fantastic. I'm infuriated that they're not called 'Easter' eggs these days, though. I'm so tempted to take a permanent marker into the shops and write 'Easter' on all the 'chocolate egg' boxes ;)

Uhh? Wot?

...was just having a reminiscent moment...

If memory serves, the shell was matte dark choc, with a few chocolate nibs pressed into it in places... And inside, on a nest of vanilla flavoured shredded edible paper, were some mini eggs filled with salted caramel.

Of course the caramel was high carb, but those eggs were small, and i only had one a day...

Sigh...

Not many posts make me really laugh out loud but your mutant bunny one did. :) :)
Here's a Easter Bilby so that we do not have to eat mutant Easter bunnies.

Don't hurt it as it's one of the many Australian animals that is an endangered species.

That's why they have the Easter Bilby campaign every year, feral cats have a lot to answer for.
You have a lot of interesting and weird animals down your way :)
