... any good recipes/foods?

I've been only vaguely sticking to a carb counting diet, but after recent dr visit have realised I need to do much more. Right when the holiday season begins :( I've never actually included Christmassy foods (so all of December) in low carb thoughts. Need advice on what to eat when all the biscuits and cakes and mince pies and brandy butter appear!

Eat the brandy butter? I think if you look at the low carb section there are recipes for lower carb Christmas treats.

This is my first Christmas as a diabetic so I’ve been thinking about Xmas food too. I’ve found this recipe for a low carb Xmas pudding. I haven’t tried it but I’m going to!

I’m going to try to make my own brandy butter by substituting Sukrin icing ‘sugar’ for real sugar.
If you Google low carb Xmas foods you’ll find plenty. Ditch the Carbs for example:

Me too. I've turned things around from weight loss stalling for 8wks (started with halloween trests) to losing again and perfect bgs. I'm going to enjoy xmas day with treats but no more treats now, maybe for life. I'm starting to shift my view from treats to low carb alloweds attitude!
