I thought it might be an idea to start a thread on vegan low-carb/keto, to keep content in one place.

I know the 'Heavenly Fan' Youtube channel has been mentioned in various threads, but will link to it here. If anyone tries any of their recipes, perhaps share details, experience, feedback etc.

She's somewhat of a Jedi Master. Vegan and keto diets are both restrictive enough, but she adds gluten-free to the mix

Thanks for starting this thread!!! I’ve been vegan (with the odd dairy lapse) for many years, and now, since retinopathy eye bleeds 1-2 years’ ago, have been trying my hardest to be low carb/keto with some success and still learning and experimenting. It’s challenging and takes a lot of thinking, planning, prep, and carting food around with me constantly. I also have/had a 40+ year history of eating disorders so anything around food is difficult and triggering for me. I’ve felt very isolated in my vegan/keto quest!!

I’ve not come across Heavenly Fan before so a big thanks for this too! I’ll check her out.

We seem to be in the same boat with regard to eyes.

Glad you are finding her channel helpful. I don't remember her mentioning it, but I'd be surprised if there isn't a larger group on social media for vegan keto. would seem like isolation squared otherwise.

I read Keto - tarian. Cannot remember the Dr's name - fantastic insight and brilliant recipes that I'm sure can be modded to vegan from veg.
