popped into Iceland for my frozen green rice and picked up these for the freezer for emergencies when I haven't got time to cook - the paella one is just over 5g carb per half pack and the shrimp one just under 3g per half pack - not cheap at £3.50 a pack but I couldn't make it for that and it serves 2 (well maybe ;) and even if you eat it all your self it's still pretty good carb wise

Those would work well with cauli rice I need my PretendyPaella. Excellent, thanks!

what is frozen green rice?

I need to make some room in the freezer, these look fab for pretend paella with cauli rice. Thanks

Shame you have to nuke it. I haven't got a nuker

I doubt you have to nuke it. I would tend to defrost it, then cook as if fresh. Seafood takes such a short time to cook, I'd tend to cook it in a wok for a minute or two, then add in whichever form of "rice" I was using. Probably sensible not to bulk buy before trying it out though.

@DCUKMod & @SueJB -
The green rice I just stir fry for a couple feet minutes right from freezer

The seafood meals are designed to be cooked from frozen - 7 minutes in a pan with a lid on straight from the freezer. For me that's why they are so handy as you can have a nice dinner in less than 10 minutes :)

Feet minutes??? *of minutes that should say lol
