Which low carb snacks do you guys have? I'm a vegetarian, and all I can seem to eat that has no carbs is lettuce, cheese and egg, none of which is a good snack :P

can you eat cheese? nuts? 85% chocolate? it makes it hard being veggie, there is a vegejel you can make jelly and cream (if cream is allowed)

Hi Beth

As Andy says, Jelly! I get a zero-carb vegetarian one from Amazon called Simply Delish. One packet makes 4 individual jelly portions so I always have jelly on hand.

Weightwatchers also do a vegetarian jelly, buy it doesn't wobble well

Sainsburys sell sugar free marshmallows. Not sure if they're veggie though.

Have a look at the other snack thread - I just posted in there - and most of those are veggie

I make up batches of small lentil or bean burgers and falafel. I freeze them and take some out for a snack. I hsvebthem with a mint and yogurt dip or a thin tahini dressing. Delicious. Also a mix of nuts like brazils . pecans. walnuts is good too.

10g of 70% or 85% chocolate with 5 walnut halves or almonds? With a coffee and double cream?

Peppered ham and iceberg wrap?

Jelly is definitely yum, (especially blackcurrant) made with almond 'milk' - mix the jelly powder with hot water, add some cold water - up to half-pint mark. Then, when cool enough, add the almond 'milk'. (If you add the almond milk while the jelly mix is too hot, it will 'curdle' a bit, but it doesn't ruin it anyway.) Or just make with water, it's easier and just as nice.

Sorry! Edit out the ham, overlooked the info that you are veggie.

Atkins chocolate bars are low carb. There is one like Bounty. Freeze it and it last longer as it's harder to chew!
My current favourite snack is Sweet chilli Philadelphia with celery
YIu could make you own ice lollies by freezing diet Coke, sugar free squash etc

Nuts of all kinds, but not too many of the higher carb kind like pecans and cashews.

Jelly.

Plain yoghurt especially Greek.

Cold meats like salami circles.

Cheese.

Did I say nuts?
