What a horrible thing having a low in your sleep!!
Felt so hot and sweaty at the bottom half of my legs and woke feeling like I didn't know where I was. First time in nearly 2 years of being diagnosed T1D.
Hi @Kieron10 Agree completely, they are not nice at all.. I normally have weird dreams and wake up with palpitations, then it's a struggle to focus to get the glucose on board to feel ok enough to sleep again..

I'm like you juicyj when I hypo through the night I always dream of trying to solve a mathematical problem & get so frustrated that I can't solve it. Funny thing is I'm not very good @ maths, lol.

Oh yeah, those weird and colourful vivid dreams!
Have had some really good ones and along with that through my hypo hell, was the constant deja vu! Some of my bizarre dreams really came true and of the recurring theme.
A locum told me that it was because I was obese, the reason for my dreams.
Told me to diet!
The problem was I was already following a dieticians advised similar to the eat well plate!! And still putting on weight! Clueless!!!
The night time ones are always the worst, when you feel so hot and you can't figure out why, it takes ages for you to figure it out. At least it woke you up, that's good
Being type 2 I wasn't expecting to get any hypos at all. The doc didn't mention you could get them on Gliclazide. I guess he never thought I get good enough control of my BS to ever go down low enough for that to happen.
The first few times these happened in the night. Palpatations, massive headache, sweating - all of which I put down to blood pressure, being a woman of a 'certain age' etc. Then I stayed up very late one night and got all the symptoms in full. Luckily I came on this website and found some people online who told me to test my BS - 3.3 - and then talked me through what to do.
Now I keep a much better eye on keeping my BS in the right area, especially in the evenings.
Sorry about late reply people. I'm not even sure I know why it happened but scared the hell out of me. I suffer with fibromyalgia so struggle with sleep anyway. Have been suffering with my feet feeling cold 24/7 and pains in the left one mostly so struggle a lot.
