Low Vitamin D

Interesting, I will tell my niece who is 13 weeks pregnant and has been told that because of her body shape (like me she carries extra weight around her middle) they will be keeping a close eye on her for gestational diabetes.

Sunshine is GOOD.

Your OWN BODY makes Vit. D from sunshine.

So it follows, Vit. D is GOOD! :D It's the only suippliment I've ever taken that I can honestly say I have felt a marked inprovement after a week or two of use.

Eat? Vitamin D can be produced by the body from UV rays, so you could probably help solve your problem by standing in the sun about 20 minutes a day (the actual minimal requirements are even lower than that). Milk is fortified with vitamin D, so I would make skim milk a staple with your meals. Many healthier breakfast cereals also have vitamin D.
