Hi my diabetes is relatively well controlled for me. Its the best its been for a long while.

I had my bloods done in Jan and all my kidney and liver tests etc were all in range.

For about 6 weeks now i have been experiencing quite numb pains as in not sharp or agony or anything that move around the lower back region. Sometimes coming around the front.

Ive been experiencing very dry mouth at night too. This is not a factor of high sugars. My mouth feels quite clammy all day.

After 5 weeks i went to the GP who did a urine test and seems to think no issues. Do any of you Type 1's have such experiences?

Many thanks in advance for your time.

Hi - when you say

my diabetes is relatively well controlled for me. Its the best its been for a long while.

what are your actual figures? We might all have very different opinions about eg what "well controlled" means.

I have xerostomia (dry mouth) from time to time - it's a well known diabetes symptom but for me only started after my BG was normal.
