A little bit confused,
I was under the impression that if I took BG reading before meal and then 2 hours after meal the reading would go up and hopefully not by more than 2mmol.
I woke and got up about 7.30am and had a couple of coffees and did not take a reading until 1.00pm 6.1mmol before first meal of day .
A large fish(haddock) in batter, was a bit worried about the batter from local fish and chip takeaway.
Waited two hours and retested 5.6mmol .
Was mystified how it had come down I was expecting a substantial rise.
Surly first reading could not be dawn phenomenon after five hours, and not medication as I have not taken Glimepiride for a week as a trial to see if I needed it to keep levels low .
As anyone any ideas why .
